Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms could use a bit of updating and cleaning, but it didn't bother me much. The location was great for a short weekend getaway, being in a quiet area near the Twin Cities but close enough to Minneapolis. The service was top-notch, with very friendly and helpful staff offering a little history of the Inn. The dining experience was okay, depending on what you chose to eat.
Upon arrival, I found the room to be on the very small side, which was surprising given we arrived on time. It could use some updating, but more importantly, better cleaning. The service was very friendly, and the staff even shared a bit of the inn's history. However, it felt like the young lady running the front desk was juggling multiple tasks because she was the only one attending to guests. The location was perfect for a short weekend getaway near Minneapolis, with easy access to the Twin Cities and close to the Afton House Inn. The dining experience was decent, offering a warm continental breakfast with a variety of options. The facilities overall were satisfactory, although some updating would enhance the experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were warm, clean, and charming, but it was incredibly hot inside, and they were on the very small size. Additionally, the towel situation was a bit lacking with only two towels and one washcloth for two people, and no floor towel or rug for the wet tile.
The hotel is a charming and historic property with plenty of natural light, but the room size is a bit restrictive. The service was friendly, but the dining experience left much to be desired. The location is perfect for a quiet weekend getaway, although the food offerings were a letdown.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was really cozy but incredibly small, making it difficult to move around. The temperature in the room was uncomfortably cold upon arrival despite notifying the expected time of check-in.
The hotel rooms were nice, but the temperature made it uncomfortable to use the fireplace for long, and we had to keep the window open in early March. The rooms were updated, featuring hot tubs and fireplaces, and the atmosphere was very quiet.
